Waterstones

1063/4/7, 21 N End, Croydon CR0 1UX, UK – 020 8686 7032

Really friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent customer service

Waterstones has always been one of my favourites. The way the books are displayed and the range is great. I spend many hours there on each visit. As well as that, because I but so many books for my tuition business, I collect lots of stamps on a card for future discounts and points on another card. The staff have always been helpful, cheerful and professional - making my long visits even easier. I look forward to my next...

Forbidden Planet Croydon

43 Church St, Croydon CR0 1RH, UK – 020 8688 7190

Though small, very welcoming .The staff are always very nice and help you with any questions you need answered. Though it is fairly difficult to find something you specifically need and they may not even have the thing you are looking for e.g they have the first issue of jojos bizzare adventure part 1 but don't have issue 2 and 3.

Great selection and great staff, even though I didn't buy anything I know that I will want to come back there

A Place in Space

96 Church St, Croydon CR0 1RD, UK – 020 8686 2400

Really excellent experience with this shop. It has recently been providing me with a subscription service and proven much cheaper and more reliable than my previous supplier. Have also helped me begin buying investment pieces. Really friendly, helpful and informative (thanks Daniel) and wish I had come across them a long time ago! Thoroughly recommended.

I love this store. Always has a variety of old comics and new ones, displayed in an easy to find manner. Has a wall of variants and rare comics if your a collector in that sense too. Prices for thw old comics are great too as they are always on half price. Haha. Regular comics are standard pricing, though seem to be a bit cheaper than forbidden planet.
