Thank you to everyone at the surgery. This is a highly professional and welcoming surgery and I am so grateful to every member of the team. Recent events have meant I have needed to visit the surgery more often than usual and if it were not for the warmth and kindness of the staff recovery would have been far more challenging. Huge thanks for all your hard work and support.

Excellent . I have been with this practice since 1996 , and remember it being in a hut on the grounds of Mayday Hospital , before it relocated to 519 London Road. I’ve seen a lot of changes , but the biggest one is the undue pressures that GP’s have to face due to budget cuts . Due to this it’s becoming hard to recruit and retain GP’s, which means increased waiting times and lesser appointments for us . Receptionist have also undue pressures , just to name a few, by ensuring that patients medical records are up to date , being careful they haven’t missed something vital , and the continuous phones calls , trying to balance out which calls are urgent or not. . Yes they may seem off at times but I wouldn’t take it personally, you only have to step into their shoes for one day and realise what they go through .The NHS is a blessing and as things are going now , we may not have it in the future, so therefore we should help retain it by supporting our practice staff and using the service when we Really need to .
I am very pleased with the service of this surgery. Staff included. Dr Khan takes the time to explain your symptoms and any medication that she prescribes for you. She also takes time to listen to you. This is a good thing as i find the medical field on the whole do not listen to the young or old people. The young are dismissed because they are young an deemed to be without knowledge and the old are neglected because they are already on the way to the grave, so why bother! Yes! unfortunately that has been the experience i have witnessed. This is why i say its good to be listened to.. Sumayyah Mootoo

Accompanied my apprehensive husband David this morning to have laser treatment to repair a torn retina. Moorfields Eye clinic was busy but efficient. David was duly called into the laser room and towards the end of the10 minute procedure, he passed out. With in seconds emergency help arrived, nurses, doctors, oxygen, porters, paramedics with stretcher. A routine session became a scene out of casualty as they brought him round from fainting. With all of this came a real sense of concern, efficiency, reassurance and true care. Bless all of you and thank you.
I have been under Moorfields eye departments at Croydon for a number of years and cannot speak highly enough of their level of care and professionalism. Moorfields took over the eye division at CUH quite a while back and the improvements they have achieved are very impressive. I am therefore loathe to post my feedback from last Thursday but do this in the hope that remedial action can be taken. I attended the eye clinic for a post operation review and waited nearly three and a half hours to be seen by a consultant. He and his support staff were clearly embarrassed by the poor scheduling of the mornings appointments which resulted in horrendous log jams and was plainly due to poor resource planning failure by admin staff. The staff and consultants were , as usual, absolutely excellent .However, I really hope we are not returning to the bad old days of thoughtless appointment booking and appropriate staffing decisions!

Fantastic place, great service from people working here. Ladies at the reception are just brilliant, friendly and very helpful, and so is my physiotherapist Nicholas. Very professional, with great attitude towards work and patients, fantastic skills and knowledge. A specialist with the vocation. With his support I got from crutches to skipping rope within few months only and this is post major operation on my lower part of leg (as the consequence of an accident that put me in the wheelchair for several months some years ago). Hospital offers many different services - I only used physio. It is very clean and tidy and quite. Maybe too quiet. I walked past this place many times and would never have guessed there is a hospital in this building until I was referred here and got an address on invitation letter.
Great hospital :)
