While some of the screens are big, and the stadium seating is almost a necessity these days, the VIP seats are a lot more comfortable than the others, but the place has a lot of issues... The escalators had been broken for over a week, meaning a 3 story climb to most of the screens, the "quick tills" either don't work or don't allow you to collect your tickets, there are never enough staff on the tills, and the toilets are just DISGUSTING!!! This place needs more staff and better trained staff, but if you only want to get in, watch, get our, it's fine...
Not a bad cinema, a lot of screens. It's very reasonable too compared to Odean cinemas. Gets very busy during new release films, but they have a decent selection of sweets, food, drinks and alcohol which is decent.

A cosy screen where you can enjoy alternative films.
A quaint and old-fashioned little cinema but they show some good uncommon films.

I go to the this VUE cinema a lot watching about 25 movies a year. Most of the time its clean but there are some occasions when I arrive that the staff have not cleaned the auditorium and I have to wait, so they do a rush job which means they miss cleaning up properly. But over all its a great place to watch films as there are lots of screens, all are 4K and 3D is sometimes available.
Food's nice but portions are overpriced. You're left feeling like you have been scammed once you seen what you've paid for. Also management should be doing regular checks on staff to make sure they are delivering a good customer service/can do attitude, rather than I'm here because I need to be.

Very good place

The Fairfield Halls puts on some great shows and I can only complement them for this. I have enjoyed every show I've seen here. However, the building is well overdue for being renovated, something I believe is planned very soon. Update: 2017 - March 2018 Works are well under way after a delay of about a year. The contractor only seems to employ 7 people at one time as you never really see many builders on site so god only knows if the building is going to be open on time. Only part of the building has been pulled down & nothing (externally at least) much seems to be moving.
This is a nice venue with appalling parking. The staff are friendly and the stage is lovely. Pretty average prices but the car park exit is so small that when everyone leaves a performance you can spend 45 minutes (no joke) in the queue to get to the exit. Park close to the exit for best results.

Lovely staff and volunteers, and a great family environment for young people. Great experience for teens who are interested in drama and cheap too.
The best place a person could ever go.
